Lucid Trading is the firm whose $50K Daily evaluation our own desk builds toward — a disclosure of our own seat, not a reason to choose the plan — so its rulebook is the one we know best, and the one where it matters most that we describe the firm's terms and nothing of our own outcomes. Lucid sells several plan types with different rules, and a farm has to know which plan each seat is on.

Every rule below is our reading of Lucid Trading's published terms in September 2026 — from the firm's own help pages where we could reach them, cross-read against dated third-party summaries where we could not. Firms change these often and without much notice, plan types differ, and the exact wording matters. Before you plan anything around a rule, read it on Lucid Trading's own site. This is not a review, a ranking, or a recommendation.

Five plans, not one rulebook

As we read it, Lucid offers LucidFlex, LucidPro, LucidDaily, LucidDirect and an invitation-only LucidMaxx, and the rules that matter to a farm differ between them. On the $50K size the profit target ($3,000) and the maximum loss ($2,000) are common; what changes is *how* the loss limit trails, whether a consistency rule applies and at which stage, whether news is allowed, and how payouts are gated. Two Lucid seats on different plans can belong in different copy trees. The rules matrix needs a row per plan here, not per firm.

The Daily plan, which is the one we hold (disclosed, not recommended)

On LucidDaily the drawdown can be chosen at checkout for the evaluation (end-of-day or intraday), and funded accounts trail intraday, including unrealised P&L. The $2,000 limit trails until the initial-trail balance — $52,100 on a $50K account — after which the floor is locked at $50,100. The 50% consistency rule applies in the evaluation only. Positions must be flat by 4:45 PM ET. And on funded Daily accounts, news is a hard rule: flat from one minute before to one minute after any US high-impact release. The lock point and the news blackout are the two Daily-plan articles.

The other plans, briefly

LucidFlex and LucidPro trail end-of-day; Flex carries a 50% consistency rule in the evaluation and none funded, Pro carries a 40% rule funded and none in the evaluation, and Pro adds a daily loss limit. LucidDirect skips the evaluation and carries a 20% consistency rule. News trading is permitted on those plans as we read it. Payout minimums and cadences differ by plan — from daily requests on Daily to multi-day qualifying periods elsewhere. Read the plan you actually hold.

The cap and copying

Five funded accounts and ten evaluations, with a combined maximum of ten, per person. Copying between your own accounts is the permitted form; hedging across live accounts — and, as we understand it, across correlated instruments — is prohibited. That is the standard no-diversification-by-direction constraint: trailing drawdown across many accounts.

What this means for a farm

At Lucid the operator's first job is bookkeeping: which plan is each seat on, which drawdown type, which consistency stage, which news rule. Seats on Daily belong in a tree that respects an intraday trail and a hard news window; seats on end-of-day plans do not share that tree. With a combined cap of ten per person, the field at Lucid is bounded by that number; the pacing discipline the funded group is built around applies as everywhere.

Nothing here is investment advice or a recommendation to join any firm or trade any product. Funded-account evaluations cost real money and most participants never pass or get paid — learn first, and trade your own risk. Common Questions

Does Lucid Trading's drawdown include open profit?

It depends on the plan. On LucidDaily funded accounts it trails intraday including unrealised P&L; on LucidFlex and LucidPro it trails end-of-day as we read the terms. Confirm the rule for the specific plan you hold on Lucid's site.

How many Lucid Trading accounts can one person hold?

As we read the September 2026 terms, five funded accounts and ten evaluations with a combined maximum of ten per person, under one profile. Verify the current limits with the firm.
